HairUWear describes the product as using fragrance and odor-eliminating ingredients, says to use it as needed to keep a wig or hairpiece smelling fresh and extend time between washings, and permits application to the interior/base or fibers. Scope: this supports HairUWear Refresh as a between-wash option; it does not validate household fragrance or deodorizing products generally.

Claim C — complete air drying is part of the care path
Jon Renau’s current synthetic care says to air dry naturally on a plastic or wire wig stand and not blow dry. HairUWear’s current care also uses air drying but distinguishes hand-tied hairpieces that should dry flat on a colorfast towel. Scope: air drying is supported across these cited systems, but the support surface can depend on construction.
What these sources do not establish
They do not prove that every odor means the wig is dirty, that every workout requires washing, that fragrance masks contamination, that one wash interval applies to every brand, or that persistent odor is always caused by the wig rather than a liner, grip, attachment product, storage environment, or scalp issue.
