For standard synthetic wigs. Check your label first; this reference does not cover human hair or blends.

Washing

ENVY’s care card describes a five-minute soak in cool water with its shampoo, followed by rinsing and its leave-in conditioner.

That soaking time belongs to ENVY’s product instructions. It is not a CLEANSE instruction.

Before you comb

ENVY’s sources differ: its care card allows damp combing after its leave-in conditioner. Its February 2024 article says to detangle only when dry.

Check the current care card for your exact wig. If it is unclear, ask ENVY or your retailer before combing it damp.

Drying

Gently press out excess water with a towel. Avoid twisting or rubbing. ENVY’s card calls for natural drying overnight.

Follow any drying instructions supplied for your particular style.
