Check the fiber on your label. This summary covers Estetica’s standard synthetic instructions; Futura has a separate care section.

Washing

The standard synthetic guide describes a 3–5-minute soak in lukewarm water with its shampoo, gentle swishing, and a cool rinse. Do not rub the hair.

It then describes a separate conditioning bath. These are the manufacturer’s product directions; they are not CLEANSE or CONTROL instructions.

Before you comb

Do not brush or comb the wig while wet. Wait until it is completely dry, then use the tool recommended for its texture.

Drying

Gently blot with a towel. Place the wig on a stand and let it dry at room temperature.

Check your wig

Standard synthetic and Futura instructions differ. Do not borrow a heat setting from another fiber’s care section.

Using WigLab?

CLEANSE — Synthetic Wig Shampoo

WIGLAB CONTROL — Synthetic Wig Post-Wash Spray

Use your wig’s current care instructions alongside WigLab’s product directions. If they conflict, check with your manufacturer or retailer before choosing a routine.
